The bar was silent as Fenn marched the Doctor back towards the door- even the music had stopped. The sight of the legendary Doctor being marched off in handcuffs inspired some admiring looks aimed towards Fenn. Jack ran up to them, walking alongside them. He whispered to Fenn, "Fenn, what the hell are you doing?"

"My job, Jack."

"You can't just take the Doctor into custody!"

"Can't I? You're out of the agency- you're in no position to question me."

Jack pulled out a gun and pointed it at Fenn's head, "What about now?"

Fenn, in turn, pulled out a gun of her own and pressed it against the Doctor's back, the guilt of her actions flashing across her face briefly, "You're not the only one with a gun, Jack."

The Doctor turned to face Jack, "Put down the gun, Jack."

"But Doctor-"

"No, Jack. You know how I feel about guns. Put it down."

Jack backed down, putting his gun back in his holster. Fenn nodded, "Good. Don't try to follow us- I will know."

The various guests in the bar cleared a path as they made their way to the door, Fenn keeping her gun pressed into to the Doctor's suit. Jack stood and watched as his former friend pushed the Doctor into the TARDIS and stepped in after him. Less than a minute later, the TARDIS dematerialised, disappearing into the night.

***

Fenn pushed the Doctor inside the TARDIS, effectively tied him to the railings and went to work, typing in coordinates, pushing buttons and pulling levers.

"You know how to pilot the TARDIS, then?" the Doctor asked, seeing the ease with which she found the dials she needed.

"I've been training specifically for this mission for years. Ever wondered which two years of memories the Time Agency stole from Jack? Basically any and every record of you in his brain, used to compile a data base to capture you with," she didn't smile or smirk- in fact, she looked downright upset with what she was doing, "including the records of you piloting the TARDIS. From these memories I learnt how to run the TARDIS."

The TARDIS whirred into action, taking them away from the inter-galactic bar. The Doctor had to ask, "Where are you taking me?"

"To HQ."

***

The TARDIS materialised in a large, white room. There were Time Agents in black uniforms everywhere, most pointing various inter-stellar weapons at the TARDIS door. Fenn stepped out slowly, shouting, "It's me! Don't shoot, I have him!"

She pulled the Doctor out after her, and the TARDIS door slammed shut. A tall, middle-aged male Agent stepped forward from the ranks. His hair and eyes were dark, almost black, and his general facial structure looked almost elf-like with its high cheekbones and pointed chin. From the various insignia on his uniform suggested that he was a highly powerful figure. He spoke, "Well done, Agent Nimear. You are commended for your capture. Guards, take him!"

The Doctor was pulled roughly to the side of the room, treated like a rag doll, though he did not struggle. The man went on, "If you had not delayed, Agent, we would not have been forced to hold your partner to ransom."

Fenn spoke up, "With all due respect, Commander Delven, sir, I have completed my mission, and I request the immediate return of my partner to me."

The commander shook his head, "Oh, I hardly think so. You wouldn't have completed your mission at all had we not forced you. This is a serious offence, and the Agency has declared it as treason, the punishment for which you know well."

She went for her gun, but the Agents went on her in seconds- washing over her like a wave of black vengeance until she laid face-down on the floor, completely subdued. The commander crouched down, and whispered to her softly, "Time for you to come watch the light show, eh?"

Fenn could feel herself passing out from the weight of the Agents holding her down, but she managed one last parting shot.

"Go to hell."

The commander chuckled as the Time Agents lifted her up and dragged her out of the room, "Oh, she knows where I'm taking her, then."
:iconaredell:
Wait, what? She wasn't... but that means... oh dear. :ohnoes:
This just keeps getting worse and worse for everyone. The Doctor REALLY shouldn't have said that.

Things might start looking up soon... or not.

EDIT: Yeah, I remembered that Jack couldn't die. Oops. So instead of Fenn pointing the gun at him, which would be pointless, she now threatens a more precious commodity. Just so y'know.

Commander Delven is mine.

You... you... :shakefist:

You are doing nothing to help my Doctor Who addiction, you with your cliffhanger endings!

We really need to find a companion that will smack him whenever he says something even remotely close to "things couldn't get worse," or any of the other famous last words: "I'll be right back," "I promise everything will be okay," "Let's split up," or, worst of all "Nothing could go wrong." That's just inviting catastrophic meltdown.

Haha, guilty as charged. XD

And catastrophic meltdown hardly needs more of an invitation around him. XD
Trouble follows him around with a guidebook of things that could "possibly go wrong".

Would "This is bad. This is very bad." help? Or are we more at a "End of the universe, butterfingers. My bad." level? (I never get the Time Crash quotes exactly right. Get getting too stunned by the awesomeness that is 5th+10th)

No, not even "Ooo, that's bad. That's extremely very not good" can help now. More kind of "Total event collapse" kind of thing.
(You got that one right. Gotta love 5 & 10. "Oh, Look, I'm the Doctor, I can save the universe with a kettle and some string, and look, I'm wearing a vegetable." XD)
