Suddenly, a scuffle broke out further into the bar, and a terrified scream rent the air, "DOCTOR!"

They swung around- Hannah was being pulled out of the bar by a group of Judoon. Fenn swore- they hadn't noticed that Hannah had wandered off. They ran to follow the Judoon, but heads were turning in the bar- a group of Sontarans marched towards them, shouting, "At arms! It's the Doctor!"

Jack ran behind them, and saw the Sontarans prime the guns. "Doctor! RUN!"

The Sontarans fired, and explosions erupted all around them. Fenn glimpsed Hannah through the haze, being pulled into a rocket by the Judoon, "HANNAH!" She yelled, and tried to follow, but the Doctor pulled her back, "Into the TARDIS!"

They ran inside, slamming the door behind them.

Jack spoke up first, "Listen, Doctor, I'm going to stay here. Can you just drop me out the front?"

"Sure," said the Doctor, trying to distract himself from the look on Fenn's face. She sat on the floor, her body hunched in shock. The TARDIS landed again, and Jack strolled out the door, looking at Fenn with concern. When he was gone, the Doctor approached her, unsure of how to continue. Then she started to cry, and he sat down next to her, putting one arm around her shoulders, trying to comfort her, "Don't worry, Fenn, we'll find her. I'm the Doctor, remember? I can help."

She sniffed and wiped her nose, "How could I forget? The mighty Doctor. It's just, what are we going to do now?"

He shook his head, "I don't know, but we'll figure something out. Maybe we should go back in, and ask if anyone knows where the Judoon were headed."

"But won't the Sontarans shoot us?"

"No doubt they've gone looking for me somewhere else by now. Besides, how much more trouble can we get into than we already are?"

Yeah... curiosity has killed many various cats over the years...
I don't think he'd enjoy being around anyone that clingy though- maybe he should travel with Jack, he knows how to take care of himself.

True, very true. I'd probably get annoyed with someone like that pretty fast too... Yeah, Jack would work. Plus, he can't die. That's always a bonus. Though the fact that he'll hit on anything that moves would probably get old after a while too.

Haha, *shakes head* Jack. But a plus side of having him as a companion would be that if the Doctor got sick of him, he could just drop him on some random planet and he could use his vortex manipulator to get home.
