There be no non-blurry pics of two D: Anywho, normally I would've done the Doctors in order, but asked for it and offered to help, so I delivered! They provided the quotes, as I'm hopeless when it comes to Classic Who Hope you like it!
..... You are familiar with windows Vista and 7 right? They can and they will, and the only way to get around it is Linux.. which isn't a good idea if you're a gamer. *curls up and hugs the comfort Linux laptop that's always there when the windows gaming machine gets to mean*
Yeah, I run off Windows 7. Vista is awful, but 7 is good. Though I'm not a computer whiz, so I can't talk. But still, I like to think that I tell my computer what to do. If it doesn't do what I say then I punish it by pulling the plug stright out of the wall. Like you send a naughty kid to their room. Except you can't turn a kid off legally.
Win7 is.. acceptable.. and only because it has high directX support... it's only good as long as you agree with it's general ideas, which I don't, cause then it's a pain to make it realise what you want it to do. >.<
And yhea, at least the Ubuntu distro is good, got a smiliar feel and look to it as a Mac, but very good for stuff like writing, browsing the web and such since it's much, much more lightweight than windows, honestly I'll never have anything else on my laptop again.
Well then, you can tell I'm not down with technology. I find that Win7 does what I need it to do, and if it doesn't then I go to google to find a way to make it behave.
I've heard that Linux is a very tough operating system. But if it's similar to a Mac, then I'd be doomed to try it. I can't do the whole encoding... thing. The extent of my computer knowledge, honestly, is limited to just above what you might call "can work the technology". I really should check Linux out. It would be a brave new adventure. More than likely ending in disaster. But you have to try new things, right?
Speak for yourself, I always think of that computer secretary from The Invasion whenever I'm greeted with an computerized answering machine when trying to make a call and react in just about the same way (now if I knew how to make it BLOW UP like Zoe could...)
Oh, I hate those answering machines, I agree. But there are other computers that are just awesome and help us more than they annoy us. (Blowing up annoying things is fun, however XD)
Well, of course, (she says, typing on a computer.) I just do usually think of that line in that context.
Needless to say, I think I named my current computer SAINT Patrick BEFORE I saw that particular episode... (What do you mean the luck of the Irish? I don't know what that has to do with my computer or its name! XD; )
