This. Then that dream-The elusive thought, caught in a web of thin light- Floated through my mind;Borne upon a cloud of heaven-Your fingers entwined with mineIn mutual embraceTwo strings of fate touching at lastAfter eternal patienceTwo destinies colliding in infinite majestyAs the waters of time swirl past usGlowing; adorned with fool's gold;Time cannot tarnish ThisIt is too bright to fade-We, together, shine outA beacon in this stormI am the candle-And you are my tower.Together we standApart as oneSharing This.
To be lost."I suppose I did love, once. But that was a long time ago. I have lost it since then.""But how can you lose love?"He looked at me with those deep, sinking eyes."Through pain, torture, Death."He added as an afterthought."And many things worse than that."
Poetic lonelinessI stand on this Earth of Majesty,One of many, yet I stand alone.Seeing what others fail to,Thinking what others refuse to,Knowing what none other knows.Gnaritas Onus Est.
I am an ignoramusI am quite the typical ignoramus; I know everything, yet I know nothing of the true nature of the Earth and its encompassing universe.
The BumblebeeIf there was a bumblebee on my windowsill,I hope it would be happy and sit there untilSpring came againAnd out flew the wrenThe flowers openedOff flew the bee~ And I was happy.
Why the Water has WavesLong ago, before living or recorded memory, the Earth was born from a part of the sun. For a long time, the surface of the Earth was made of Fire. Then one day, Water appeared. Water cooled Fire's temper, then tricked him by pushing him underground. So the surface of the Earth was then covered by Water.Sun did not like these new developments. Fire was his brother and Sun didn't want him imprisoned. Sun thought about this long and hard, and eventually decided to dry up Water so that Fire could be free again. But when Sun looked closely he saw that Water had changed the face of Fire. Fire had gone deep within the Earth as his face cooled and
Skies of DiamondsIf I had the World to giveI'd stay and I would liveSomewhere where the clouds don't cloud up the skies.I'd sit up in a treeAnd I'd live quite happilyBecause I'd see the world as it was meant to be.If the Skies are made of DiamondsAnd the Birds swim in the SeasThen I'll live on an IslandAnd Hug the Bumblebees.Easy for you to say (I know)Armies go to war (You know)Ready to shoot and play (I know, I know)That we can't do anything at all (You know, you know)Have you heard the bells ringing before? (Do you really know at all?)If the sepulchral tones are trueThen summer afternoons we knewAre all we have but these
I hear rumours...I hear rumours of our creation, they whisper in the night,of fallen gods resplendant intheir shining armour bright.I hear whispers of our beginningthat story yet unsung;the one who knows the bells are ringinghas only just begun.
The Stage of WordsI am a conductor of poetryA guide to untapped verse;I play the strings of literatureAnd with the words converse. The letters swirl around meInk as black as midnight's sun;See the words surround theeLet thy purposed line be run.
Twisted LogicWhen you are depressed, just walk backwards.
Peaceful Ocean ShoreYou are sitting on a ledge. The sand it is made of is coarse, grainy- each piece so small, yet not small enough to be soft. The sun rests on your back, warming you like a gentle fire in the sand. Your feet hang over the ledge, dipping into a cool, fresh pool of water at the bottom. It laps at your ankles, refreshingly calm. You listen- the sound of gulls in the distance, crying out in anguish as they dive beneath the waves like the harpoons of the sky. There is a roaring sound nearby- the waves of an ocean breaking on the shore of the sandy beach. The roaring rises to a crescendo and then falls back like a defeated beast, only to launch anot
DreamsI opened my eyes. I was laying on something undecidedly solid, surrounded by darkness. But there! A flash!Suddenly I saw it all- thousands of multi-coloured lights threading their way through darkness at super speeds, so fast your brain can barely register them before they disappear. It was an astonishingly beautiful sight, but I was too confused to admire astonishingly beautiful sights. There was a shadowy figure in the distance."Hello! Where am I? How did I get here?" I called. The figure came closer. It was my nerdy friend Arthur. I had no idea what he was doing there, but I was glad that he WAS there."By my reckoning, we have trav
